Cheese with the Aussies

Is there anything more quintessentially French than wine and cheese? That probably explains why our Cheese and Wine Pairing Lunch is becoming one of our most popular packages. We were recently joined by two Australian ladies who greatly enjoyed their French wine and cheese moment. Natalie’s husband’s job recently moved their family to Aix en Provence, so when her best friend came over for a visit, she too discovered the beauty of French wine served with our fantastic cheese selections. As you can imagine, many bottles were stuffed into her suitcase heading back to Sydney.

It is a concise, enticing glimpse into the magic marriage of the the two things the French do best. The best combination we’ve come across so far has been the roquefort (a.k.a. blue cheese) with a sweet Muscat- the whole sweet and salty thing definitely has our taste buds singing!
