Are your packages in English?

Yes! WineInProvence specifically caters to English speaking groups.

What about kids?

It depends on the package you choose. The Chateau Tour would be alright for kids as there is a large garden and they would probably find the tour interesting. However, our wine tastings are two-hour sit down events and would probably not be ideal for children.

 

What if I don't know anything about wine?

No Problem! Our goal is to create an atmosphere that is fun and not the least bit intimidating. No matter what your previous knowledge is about wine, we want you to learn, taste, and experience Provence .

 

Do you accept credit cards?

All credit card transactions are to be paid in advance and are handled securely through PayPal.

 

How do you select your wines?

We are always sampling wine looking for the best to serve at our tastings. We visit chateaus, local wine caves, and get the opinions of local chefs. A tasting with WineInProvence will always include hand selected high quality wines.

 

What are your qualifications?

Hilary: Wine Industry Certificate from Cal Poly University in San Louis Obisbo, California, worked with the Russian River Valley Winegrowers Association in Sonoma County, California and worked at Firestone Winery in Santa Ynez Valley, California.

Brian: Worked for Abingdon Vineyards in Abingdon, Virginia and has worked in numerous high-end restaurants pairing food and wine.

What should I wear to the tastings?

Our tastings are very casual so we invite you to come dressed in the way you feel most comfortable.
