Join Wine in Provence Tours in our annual Harvestfest tour package! Stomp grapes,  eat, drink wine, sing French songs, tour local wineries for a wine tasting of the famous rosé of Provence.

You also have the option of joining a truffle hunt in the evening which ends with eating truffle hors d’oeuvres and drinking champagne as the sun sets over the countryside of Provence.

Harvestfest – Grape Stomp and Wine Tour in Provence

10:00am – 1:30pm ~ Grape Stomp and Provançal buffet with wine.

The tour starts with a visit to a Provençal farm in the morning, learn how grapes are cultivated and how wine is made, PLUS stomp grapes in enormous antique oak barrels that are waist-high, roomy enough for 4+ people, and have a view of Mount Sainte Victoire.stomp grapes in enormous antique oak barrels that are waist-high, roomy enough for 4+ people, and have a view of Mount Sainte Victoire.

After all of that hard work, you’ll be regaled with harvest stories passed down from generations of local farmers and hear about the dark side of winemaking. Grape stomps are followed up with a buffet of cheese, paté, charcuterie, and lots of red wine.

2:00pm – 4:30/5:00pm ~ Provence Wine Tour and Wine Tasting

In the afternoon, we will have a wine tour and wine tasting of some amazing, dry rosé wine at local wineriesCome experience why the Provence wine region produces some of, if not the, best dry rosé in the world (not to be overlooked, they do make some great whites and reds as well)!  Dry rosé is one of the fastest growing product in the global Wine industry so this experience will allow you the chance to have wine tastings in the top rosé producing area in the world . With vineyards scattered around Cezanne’s famous Mount Saint Victoire, wine tasting in this region is a feast for your eyes as well as your palette.  It is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience

5:00pm – 7:30pm ~ Truffle Hunt*

Finish off your wine tour with another treat for your palette. This experience will bring you to a Provençal truffle plantation. Enjoy the truffle hunt with truffle dogs and finish your day in Provence sipping champagne and eating fresh truffle hors d’oeuvres, as the sun sets in the countryside of Provence. This is how every day should end!

There are no hidden costs.[/toggle_content] [/toggle][toggle] [toggle_title]What should I wear?[/toggle_title] [toggle_content]For the grape stomp, we have one bucket with water and bleach to use before you get in the barrel, and one with just water when you get out, two towels to dry your feet and a stool to put your shoes back on. The grapes are calf high but some splashing may occur. So please wear appropriate clothing. A private changing room will be provided

*For the truffle hunt, please wear clothing appropriate for the weather and sturdy walking shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty. This is a fair-weather tour, as the dogs don’t like to hunt in a downpour.[/toggle_content] [/toggle]
